Los Angeles International Airport

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is a centerpiece of United’s West Coast operations and a gateway to the airline’s domestic and Asia Pacific network. In 2015, United announced a $573 million renovation investment to bring greater convenience and comfort to its customers at LAX. From a state-of-the-art ticketing lobby to a sleek and spacious United Club lounge, the entire airport experience will be elevated by December 2017. Last year, United launched new nonstop service between LAX and Melbourne – the world's longest route on the new, B787-9 Dreamliner. LAX the sixth busiest airport in the world for passengers and ranks 14th in the world in air cargo tonnage handled.
