Washington-Dulles International Airport (IAD) is the largest in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. It is one of the nation’s busiest
airports, serving nearly 22 million passengers a year. Recently, United opened a new $45 million 125,000-sqaure-foot wide-body aircraft
maintenance hangar that helps deliver greater reliability to customers and enhance their overall travel experience.

United, together with United Express,® operates approximately 220 daily flights out of IAD:

  • United Regional – 139

International service

United serves 31 daily nonstop flights to 30 international destinations from IAD:

  • 14 daily nonstop flights to 13 destinations in Europe
  • Two daily nonstop flights to two destinations in Asia
  • six daily nonstop flights to 12 destinations across Latin America and the Caribbean
  • 10 daily nonstop flights to four destinations in Canada

Domestic service

United operates 180 daily flights to 69 airports across the United States from IAD, including frequent daily service to top business travel markets in New York, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles.
